What you'll need
- 1 cup Satchmo Ready-to-Cook Idli/Dosa Batter
- For the filling:
- 2 medium potatoes, boiled and mashed
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 green chili, finely chopped
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp urad dal
- 1 tsp cooking oil
- A pinch of asafoetida (hing) and salt
- Fresh coriander for garnish

How to Cook

Prepare Filling
Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds and urad dal. Once they splutter, add the chopped onion and green chili and sauté until the onion turns translucent. Add the mashed potatoes, turmeric, hing, and salt. Mix well and set aside.

Make Dosa
Heat a non-stick tawa. Pour a ladleful of Satchmo batter and spread it in a thin circle. Drizzle a little oil around the edges.

Fill & Fold
Once the dosa is golden brown and crisp, place a portion of the potato filling in the center. Fold the dosa in half and serve hot with sambar and coconut chutney.
